FeedForward are looking for a Senior Operations Manager for their Figaro music search and discovery products for the music, media and gaming industries. You will lead finance and operations at an exciting point as we commercially scale our existing search and metadata management platform, using machine learning to build the future of music search. This is an exciting and dynamic role where you will be responsible for financial strategy, systems and processes, project management, HR & legal, with scope to support special projects and build a team as the company grows.
Responsibilities
Finance:
- Financial strategy: manage company budget, P&L, budget vs actuals
- Management information for investors
- Manage share option scheme
- Payroll, bookkeeping
- Monthly client invoicing
- Manage relationship with external accountant
Systems and processes:
- Maintain and improve existing company systems, including collaboration platforms and document storage.
- Capture existing and define new processes as the company grows.
Project management:
- Manage client contracts and subscriptions
- Establish new projects and track delivery against agreed scope of work
- Manage relationship with client stakeholders in relation to service/project delivery
HR & legal:
- Staff policies and handbook
- Manage recruitment and onboarding of new staff
- Contracts (employee and client)
- Understand legal compliance requirements and reflect these in company processes
Office management & events
- Enable effective hybrid team working
- Team away days and events
- Purchase and keep a log of company assets (e.g. computers)
Special projects
- Support the executive team in the delivery of time-limited strategic projects
About you
As a person you are comfortable handling different topics on a daily basis. You are equally able to engage on people issues as on budgets and profitability tracking. You like to consider things at a strategic level but you are also not shy about getting stuck into the practical work that will be required to establish strong internal operations within a young company.
Required skills / experience:
- Client-facing delivery

- Ability to develop strategic insights and recommendations

- You must have the right to work in the UK either through citizenship or a valid Visa that you currently hold

- £50,000-60,000: remuneration based upon experience
