Position is seeking a full time A&R Project Coordinator based in Los Angeles. In this role, you will interface with artists, songwriters, managers and attorneys, as well as be involved in the day-to-day machinations of a music publisher and record label.

Responsibilities will include:
– Assisting the VP, Head of A&R with administrative tasks including database organization, calendar/scheduling, and submitting expense reports
– Project Management of a high volume of label releases
– Communicating with artists, writer/producers and managers
– Researching and communicating songwriter/publisher splits to the Admin department
– Assisting in the coordination of scheduling commercial releases with Label Services
– Assisting in day-to-day artist management for two touring artists
– Obtaining payment information from vendors, songwriters and artists
– Processing and delivering audio files to Label Services and the synch department, including tagging audio files with metadata
The ideal candidate will: (Must be based in Los Angeles)
– Be passionate about working in the music industry
– Have prior experience working in or around music publishing or a record label
– Be extremely detail oriented, highly organized, and enjoy building systems
– Have the ability to prioritize and process a very high volume of work
– Have excellent written and oral communication skills
– Be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Suite
– Be experienced with audio file conversion and formatting
