London based Artist Management company seeking Artist Manager to join the team. This is a full time hybrid position 11am-7pm with 2-3 days per week required in office. Due to the nature of the industry, you may sometimes be required to work outside of these hours. Experience within the music-industry preferred. You must be able to work independently using one’s own initiative but also enjoy working collaboratively with the team.
You will oversee a mixture of songwriters, producers, and artists with responsibilities including: day-to-day co-ordination, booking sessions on a global landscape, ad-strategy, social media strategy, song pitching and working across the roster to conceptualise creative ways to boost visibility globally. The ideal candidate must be open to experimentation and have the ability to wear many hats in the small business environment.
Looking for someone who is ambitious, has a finger on the pulse when it comes to music discovery, social, self-motivated and eager to learn.
What you’ll do:
- Book and maintain sessions calendar
- Oversee artist releases – co-ordinate with PR, advertisers, distributors, radio, etc
- Seek out sync opportunities
- Pitch catalogue of songs for placements in K-Pop and Western music industry
- Create content and maintain social media platforms (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, Facebook, Douyin, Rednote, Bandsintown)
- Maintain mailing lists for artists
- Source opportunities e.g. Festival applications, grants, influencer campaigns, gigs, playlisting etc
- Conceptualise innovative methods of boosting roster presence globally
- Build and maintain strong relationships with other industry professionals – managers, A&Rs, sync agents, publishers, tastemakers, etc
- Source new talent to sign to roster
Required skills and experience:
- Experience within the music industry preferred but not necessary
- Deep passion for a wide range of musical styles
- Strong understanding of social media platforms
- Strong computer skills – Mail, Microsoft Suite, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Capcut, Google Workspace
- Video editing skills preferred
- Organisational skills are a must
- Ability to wear multiple hats within the small business environment and self-motivate to get results
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong communication skills and must be comfortable in social environments to forge new connections
- Reliable and patient
