Overview:
The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and developing strategic business relationships with music supervisors, film directors, television producers, and advertising executives. You will take the lead in the development of new business opportunities that support Kelly Mac Music’s overall growth strategy. We are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for music and sales, and a proven track record of success. In this key position, you will work closely with Kelly Mac and her internal team to achieve established sales goals and implement business development initiatives that maximize company growth and generate bottom-line revenue for the company.
Requirements:
- strong knowledge of music publishing and sync licensing terms, business practices, and general fees
- must have an existing network of music/media/entertainment industry contacts
- music be passionate about modern music, media, and be able to be an ambassador for our brand while communicating our values
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- take the current and past success of the company and leverage to bring in new business in the film/tv/advertising industries
- communicate brand’s specialized expertise and find clients that would be synergetic
- research new clientele, target appropriate clients and foster business relationships
- attend conferences and professional association meetings; communicate/promote our music solutions and brand
- maintain consistent sales growth and hit quarterly sales goals
Salary
Compensation is 10-15% of gross, depending on experience
